Residential Lifetime Limited Finish Warranty

Montage Floors warrants that the factory applied WearPlus finish will not wear through or peel under normal use for the life of the product. Wear through is defined as complete loss of finish wear layer and normal use means those activities associated with residential use. Gloss reduction, surfaces scratches and indentations in traffic areas are not considered wear through and can be corrected with recoating.

The Lifetime Limited Residential Warranty is valid under the following conditions:

1. The floor must be properly installed in accordance with Montage Floors installation instructions.
2. The floor must be properly maintained in accordance with acceptable industry standards and Montage Floors maintenance guidelines.
3. The floor must be installed indoors in a climate controlled environment.
4. Water damage of any type is excluded.
5. Damage caused by subfloor moisture or hydrostatic moisture is excluded.
6. Product installed with obvious manufacturing defects will be excluded.

Lifetime Limited Structural Warranty
Montage Floors warrants that your floor will be free from manufacturing defects for the life of the product when used under normal household conditions. This warranty covers manufacturing defects in milling, dimension and grade and provides that the product will not:

• Warp
• Buckle
• Twist
• Cup
• Separate or delaminate at the plies

Damage caused from water or outside forces will be excluded.

Warranty Coverage:
Montage Floors will, at its option, repair the affected planks, replace the affected planks or issue a credit for the full price of the material in question. If the floor was professionally installed Montage Floors will pay reasonable labor for the removal and reinstallation of a new floor. This warranty in non-transferable.

Montage Floors: Floor Care Instructions

• Wood flooring can only be installed in climate controlled environments where the room temperature is maintained between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Keep loose debris off your floor by sweeping and vacuuming regularly. You should not use a vacuum with a beater head on your floor.
• Remove spills and promptly by using a soft cloth.
• Use proper furniture casters and maintain them properly.
• Wood is a natural product and will age accordingly. Exposure to sunlight and UV rays will fade the floor.

The Limited Wear warranty excludes:
Damage caused by outside forces, tape, adhesives, scuffs, gouges, burns, indentations, and misuse or scratched. Loss of gloss over a period of time is considered normal wear and tear and is not considered a product claim. Products sold as seconds, tavern or “as is” are excluded.
